Meet Our Executive Director

We are so pleased to welcome Tara Siers in the professional role as Executive Director of Rumson Jewish Center at Congregation B’nai Israel (RJC@CBI).  Tara is part of a family legacy of dedication and leadership to our synagogue community.  Grandparents, Charlie and Jenny, were early members and supporters (also owning the only Kosher butcher shop in the county!).  Tara’s dad, Stephen, served as Congregation President, Trustee, and Religious Committee chair for many years; and mom, Anne, a Sisterhood president, Beautification Committee member, and chair of many successful galas and special events.  

At RJC@CBI, Tara began her synagogue life as a student in the Gan. She became a Bat Mitzvah in our sanctuary and a graduate of our Hebrew High School.

Tara served as Administrative Assistant to our Hebrew High School Principal for three years, as well as Youth Director and high school teacher in Jewish history and Kashrut.  She coordinated events, partnered with teachers, and communicated with staff and parents.

Professionally, Tara has worked for many years as Billing and Tax Coordinator/Client Concierge for The Green Group.  Her responsibilities included  assisting partners with administrative duties; planning firm events; marketing; billing; training new hires in their tasks and software techniques; vendor management; social media; budget oversight; security and volunteer management; etc.

As a RJC@CBI volunteer, Tara was elected Secretary to the Executive team and Board of Trustees, served as Trustee for Synagogue Life, and planned social events, beautification projects, and currently our 100th Anniversary Celebration. 

Tara’s personal and professional experience and enthusiasm make her ideally suited for her new position.
