YOUNG FAMILIES
Connect. Learn. Volunteer. Belong…
There is No Better Time for Families With Young Children to Join Rumson Jewish Center at Congregation B’nai Israel
No one ever said raising a child is easy.
We all want to see our children progress into their teens and adulthood as compassionate, caring, productive, and responsible individuals. For any one family, the task is daunting. That is why the time is right for young families to join the Rumson Jewish Center at Congregation B’nai Israel community.
What can our Congregation do for your child?
We encourage a sense of Jewish identity to flourish. There will be transformation before your eyes as your child learns about our Jewish community, the Jewish calendar, wonderful holidays and celebrations, the teachings of the Torah as well as the historic struggles and obstacles faced by our people. A Jewish child, as part of a religious minority, needs a sense of belonging, of being part of a continuous link from the past to the future. By participating in our school and activities your child will naturally develop an emotional maturity and an innate sense of goodness. A Jewish child naturally cares for family, community, and the world-at-large. A child’s Jewish identity becomes part of their essence and defines who they are as a person. There is no greater gift you can give your child.
Plant your Jewish roots by joining Rumson Jewish Center at Congregation B’nai Israel
You’ll be amazed at what grows. Family bonds will strengthen through wonderful memories of sharing of rich cultural traditions. You will meet your Jewish neighbors and make new friends. At Rumson Jewish Center at Congregation B’nai Israel, many members have grown up here and are now completing the circle by raising their children and celebrating their Bar or Bat Mitzvahs. These members have shared the sense of comfort and familiarity and the joy and fulfillment that comes from being part of our community. Now, you can be the one to start that inter-generational connection within your family. There is no better mitzvah than bringing your family to Rumson Jewish Center at Congregation B’nai Israel.
We welcome you!
